Erasmus para diabeticos
Hola, soy diabético desde los 10 años, ahora mismo tengo 20 años y me estoy planteando irme de beca erasmus un año al extranjero. Por ello escribo aquí solicitando a cualquier usuario que me aconseje o me cuente si ha tenido una experiencia similar. Por una parte me da miedo porque vivo aún en casa de mis padres y nunca me he ido tanto tiempo, pero por otra considero que ha de ser una gran experiencia. ¿Qúe consideran?

Hola, yo soy diabética tipo 1 también, desde los tres años y pasé un año de estudiante erasmus en Inglaterra en el 2001. A mi me fue muy bien, me registré con la enfermera de la universidad y ella me ayudó a conseguir mis insulinas, tiras reactivas, etc. Además seguí viendo a mi endocrino en Madrid cada 6 meses, menos a menudo de lo normal, pero él sabía que estudiaba fuera y todo estuvo bien. La clave es la de siempre, cuidarse y tomar precauciones (informar a los compañeros de piso por ejemplo, tener un glucagón a mano, etc.). No tengas miedo, después de Inglaterra seguí viajando y ahora vivo en el extranjero donde todavía tengo una diabetes bien controlada. Ánimo con todo.
