Pregnancy and Insulin Pump

Hi all,

First visit to my endo while pregnant. He says he wants me to get a pump. Anyone else get a pump while pregnant? He says he wants me to keep it after the pregnancy and I'm assuming its because of breastfeeding after and how that would probably make my numbers go up and down as well. I just haven't been able to keep up, everyday to the next is different. Either I need more or less. He says he wants me to be able to eat when I need to.

A1c on 11/19/2010= 6.0 C-Peptide = .71
A1c on 9/15/2010 = 7.1!
A1C on 7/9/2010 = 9.1
Insulin pump with humalog
Drinking pregnancy tea and kefir and taking fish oil, prenatal, ground flaxseed,
Vit. D supplement during the winter.
Lots of exercise!!!
